Subism Build

Subism hosts established and up and coming contemporary artists from around the world, selling limited-edition artwork, from street art and graffiti to digital art, design and illustration.

I was responsible for the first web build of subism.co.uk

One year on I am now part of the Subism team. I am involved in artist selection, web development & also create live visuals from time to time.

We are looking to relaunch Subism in 2009 with a fresh new site and some inspirational new artists. Keep your eyes open!

BD4D & Wellcome Trust Competition

The Wellcome Trust is an independent research-funding charity, established under the will of Sir Henry Wellcome in 1936. It is funded from a private endowment, which is managed with long-term stability and growth in mind.

Its mission is ‘to foster and promote research with the aim of improving human and animal health’. To this end, it supports biomedical research and applied clinical research. It also encourages the translation of research findings for health benefit.

The Brief:

Produce an interactive Flash piece that is playful and engaging using at least 2 words from the Word Soup. The interactive artist should be inspired by the words in the soup or the connections between them and create a piece of content that will encourage others to explore life medicine and art.
