Amazing work from GMunk with the Lightform ‘Currents’ Sculpture displayed at the GMUNK vs MUSE Exhibition.
The work showcases some exciting new tech from Lightform, a device that connects Lightform to any projector and instantly creates magical experiences with light.
I will be keeping a close eye on this project. The features so far look great and can’t wait to hear further about the 3D scanning capabilities & specifications.
Just launched this week a 3D Promo Animation for Lully
For his first release of the year, Lully soldiers on with his bizarre mix of distorted electronica, but this time pop melodies are at the forefront.
“Glow Sustain” follows last year’s “Sans Chapeau” and “Slow D’s”, and is a more accessible window into the world of Lully. Named after 17th century composer, instrumentalist and dancer Jean-Baptiste Lully, his moniker is just one of the many eccentric aspects of the Lully project.
Lully explains “this is a song about the pressures of wearing new clothes.” At first this may seem like a shallow or vapid construct for a song, but with constant pressures from the media and society, people, young and old, that pressure can be all too real.
The track is also accompanied with the following poem from Lully:
“The hand di Adamo and the anguine bite
This fleur de Lully illumines the night
Perpetual spin and alchemical glow
‘Twont yield to gravity or hourglass’d flow
The front and the back: betwixt fiction and fact
A h’raldic pirouette! Ends the opening act”

A 100ft Digital waterfall projected from City Square onto the Queens Hotel. Takes you on a journey from the abstract to the hyper real, driven in perfect synchronization by a musical score inspired by the chaotic forces of nature’s white noise.

Stardust from PostPanic on Vimeo.
PostPanic director Mischa Rozema’s new short film, Stardust, is a story about Voyager 1 (the unmanned spacecraft launched in 1977 to explore the outer solar system). The probe is the furthest man-made object from the sun and witnesses unimaginable beauty and destruction. The film was triggered by the death of Dutch graphic designer Arjan Groot, who died aged 39 on 16th July 2011 from cancer.
The entire team at PostPanic (the Amsterdam-based creative company) pushed themselves in their own creative post techniques to produce a primarily CG short film crafted with love.
The film’s story centers on the idea that in the grand scheme of the universe, nothing is ever wasted and it finds comfort in us all essentially being Stardust ourselves. Voyager represents the memories of our loved ones and lives that will never disappear.
The track is now available for purchase, with all proceeds going to the KWF (Dutch Cancer Society)
